Our Club was founded in 1972 and is one of the oldest Probus Clubs in the district. We are proud to live in the ancient City of Winchester, the former capital of England, with its beautiful Cathedral and association with King Alfred.

Our aim is to provide Friendship and Fellowship and is open to all professional and business men who are fully or partly retired.

We meet every second Thursday of the month in Winchester. Lunch is preceded by a talk on a variety of interesting topics.

Each year there are two lunches at which partners are invited and the widows of former members. The 'Winter' lunch usually takes place in December and the 'Summer' lunch usually takes place in June or July.

We hold coffee mornings to give members the opportunity to chat and mingle on a more informal basis.

We arrange trips to theatres in the area and visits to places of interest, both locally and further afield.

Regular walks are organised ending at a pub for lunch

Joining fee is a modest £10 to cover the cost of a Probus tie and lapel badge, annual sub £30 and lunch presently £25.

We are looking for new members to join us and we will enthusiastically welcome applicants to lunch.
