Activities

The Winchester and District Probus Club provides a range of activities for members.

The basic activity is the monthly lunches held at the Tennis and Squash Club in Bereweeke Road, Winchester. At this lunch there is usually a guest speaker who will talk on an interesting topic and members have a chance to ask questions. Before the lunch there is time for members to meet and intermingle.

At present the lunch costs members £ 22

In addition other activities include
1. Theatre visits for members and their partners.
2. Walks usually around Winchester and district for members and partners.
3. Christmas (in January) and Summer (July) lunches for members and their partners.
4. Visits for members and their partners to interesting places.
5. Informal Thursday morninng meetings of members at the Bell Inn St Cross Road, to discuss any topic of interest.
6. Team entry to local competitions e.g. Bowls Competition, Quiz Team.
